L7 – L5 was Oursler’s first three-channel-video installation, which featured his sculptures, paintings, and videos. Some of these elements were assembled to create hybrid objects that reinforced the fantastic atmosphere of the immersive nocturnal environment. Meanwhile, L7- L5 also marked Oursler’s first use of different devices or mediums, such as glass and water, to reflect rather than directly project moving images of a video.
